The Iran war is still on, but the global economy isn't tanked yet. Thoughts on this?

So all the media were saying we're headed for a major economic collapse. Even that Prof. Jiang guy was so pessimistic.

What do you guys think of this moving forward? Are we screwed or can things recover?

The war in Iran has not stopped the flow of most goods because many nations have shifted their buying to other places and kept production steady.

You see the effect in steady fuel prices and normal shipping volumes rather than big drops that would signal real trouble.

Start by looking at the monthly reports on imports and exports to judge how things stand before making any moves with your money.

Any monthly reports you recommend? Where can I get these reports.....

My opinion on this - its a ticking time bomb. Until they resolve that war in the middle east, expect everything to rise because China's energy costs are going through the roof.

The US on the other hand are in a stronger position now that they own Venezuela's oil.

The world is going to be very different moving forward.
