What You Will Do

As the SDR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the SDR team responsible for generating leads for our Account Executives through demo calls. You will oversee the sales strategy and the day-to-day operations for the SDR team to optimize pipeline creation and lead handoff. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the SDR team to consistently exceed individual and team quotas
  • Train SDRs in effective cold calling techniques, CRM management (Hubspot), and other necessary skills
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, hiring exceptional talent to achieve growth targets
  • Actively engage in SDR tasks, such as cold-calling and scheduling demos, as time permits, to support the team and maintain a deep understanding of the process
  • Provide performance feedback and mentorship to help team members progress in their careers
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive department to ensure seamless handoff of new opportunities and regularly review the quality of sales opportunities

Sales Process Optimization

  • Create sales development resources, such as call scripts and prospecting emails, to maintain messaging consistency and effectiveness
  • Measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs), while also generating reports as needed by senior management
  • Oversee and optimize the sales funnel to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Streamline and refine the sales process for maximum effectiveness
  • Select, implement, and manage sales automation tools to facilitate smoother operations
  • Manage CRM data to ensure accuracy and relevance

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience leading and managing an outbound sales team
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an SDR
  • Minimum 1 year of experience selling into small businesses
  • Proficiency in using Hubspot and database software tools for streamlined operations
  • Business acumen and financial skills to understand sales profitability and opportunities
  • Advanced analytical skills to identify process improvements and implement strategies
  • Ability to analyze sales data, trends, and forecasts for informed decision-making

Preferred Experience

  • Strong leadership skills for team assessment and effective coaching
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration and management interaction
  • Experience in an ambiguous environment emphasizing problem-solving and ownership
