Easol is the leading all-in-one ‘experience commerce’ platform built to power experience businesses including festivals, wellness retreats, food and drink, sports and adventure trips. With Easol, experience businesses have complete control to drive more direct sales, retain more revenue, own their data and run their business on their terms.

Easol has deep roots in experiences. The platform was launched by former festival founders; Lisa and Ben Simpson in 2017, after the husband and wife team endured challenges and frustrations first hand while setting up and growing their own experience business. This included; Rise, Europe’s biggest snow-sports and music festival, and Beyond Adventures, a series of adventure travel experiences in remote locations such as the Sahara desert, and the Swedish Archipelago.

Easol is building the best tool in the world for creators to manage and sell experiences online. We’re looking for a ludicrously creative designer to devise inspiring templates that serve experience creators in a way they’ve never been served before. This is not e-commerce—it's Experience Commerce.**

About the Role

As a Product Designer (Themes), you will:

• Design industry-leading website templates for the most inspiring creators in experience commerce.
• Improve our existing Easol themes: Alchemist, Vagabond and Nomadic.
• Design custom themes for creators like leblanq.com and meadowsinthemountains.com.
• Investigate and improve the booking journeys of most important creator’s websites.
• Work with the platform product team to design a seamless customer experience across all creator websites, from browsing to booking, paying and arriving.
• Improve supporting documentation, Figma files, and workflows for our Easol Partners.
• Create and improve pages on easol.com.

Requirements

• A portfolio that demonstrates inspirational visual design craft, strong UX thinking and excellent written communication skills.
• Experience designing conversion focused marketing sites.
• Experience designing responsive website templates systems.
• A foundational understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Experience working with live user data to make informed design decisions is a plus.
• Experience using code to experiment with visual effects is a plus.

How you will be supported

• You’ll be part of our growing design and frontend team.
• You’ll work closely with our Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder, Lisa.
• You’ll work closely with our Product team.
• You’ll report to our Chief Technology Officer.
