Outset is based in the heart of the Financial District in San Francisco. We're revolutionizing how companies communicate with their users. Our AI-moderated user interview platform provides teams with deeper insights than traditional surveys, bridging the communication gap between businesses and their users.

🤔 The Solution

Outset leverages cutting-edge technology, including industry-leading voice-to-voice real-time interview tech and unstructured data classification using a fine-tuned in-house Large Language Model. We're dedicated to enhancing user interviews, reducing latency, and ensuring the best possible user experience.

👋 The people

You'll be working closely with both our CTO and CEO, diving deep into the technical challenges and innovations that drive Outset forward. We are an in-person team, typically coming into the office between 3-4 days per week.

🏗️ What you’ll be doing here:

• Building and refining the core features of Outset.
• Implementing and enhancing our real-time interview tech and in-house Large Language Model.
• Directly interfacing with users to gather feedback and improve our product.
• Collaborating with the CTO and CEO on product direction and strategic decisions.
• Working on the backend with Python/Django and the frontend with NextJS, all hosted on AWS & Vercel.

Skills required: Python, Django, TypeScript, SQL, AWS. Production experience building enterprise web applications. Bonus if you're familiar with WebRTC or streaming.
