We're on the lookout for a Founding Full Stack Software Engineer who is not just skilled but also passionate about driving innovation in a high-growth environment.
You will:
- Develop full stack solutions rapidly, encompassing everything from server-side logic to client-facing applications.
- Build scalable infrastructure focusing on performance and security as we expand our product reach.
- Write clean, efficient, and bug-free code that stands the test of time and use.
- Collaborate directly with the founders, leading and working alongside other engineers to establish team processes and a strong engineering culture.
- Spearhead the deployment of our codebase and lead rigorous testing efforts to ensure quality and reliability.
- Embrace a high-velocity work ethic, including the willingness to work during weeknights and weekends when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience as a driven, motivated full-stack engineer, with backend expertise. Building APIs is a must.
- Proficiency in our current tech stack: NextJS, React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI. (Experience with Go is a plus)
- Experience in founding or being a key member of an engineering team in an early-stage startup is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, with an ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
- Independent and proactive work ethic, capable of swift decision-making and self-management in a small team for maximum impact.
- Passionate about driving innovation and operational efficiency.
- A history of building projects from scratch, showcasing resourcefulness and a scrappy attitude.
